27 Times the Olsen Twins Were Spotted on Instagram

We’re not holding our breath for Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen to get a public Instagram account anytime soon, so as resourceful editors with an appetite for Olsen photos, we had to take matters into our own hands. Thankfully, Olsens Anonymous does a fantastic job of creeping on the Instagram accounts of the twins’ peers, keeping us up to date on their personal lives.

Game-Changers: The 14 Most Important Plus-Size Models

The fashion world has been talking a lot about plus-size ladies lately. First, size-10 model Myla Dalbesio garnered a lot of attention when some media outlets mistakenly labeled her plus-size. Then the hallowed pages of Vogue were filled with a lingerie shoot featuring women of a bunch of different shapes and sizes—including some plus-size ladies.

Came back last morning to Milan, and already I find myself in a hurry through all the meetings before Milan fashionweek madness.
Little by little also on the blog all the looks worn for New York fashionweek, starting with this one wearing the golden slip-ons of my new capsule collection, “The Blonde Salad x Steve Madden” (in stores and online now).

I am going to miss looking at photos with all those colourful tiles, the beautiful architecture, the exotic feeling but this is my last look from Morocco. I have been waiting to wear this dress but the weather hasn’t been very bare leg friendly in Holland, not that it isn’t expected. Soon I will be flying somewhere warmer, escaping the winter, even though I have to say I am kind of daydreaming of a cabin in the woods, on a snowy landscape and a fireplace. Maybe soon…

3 Foolproof Ways to Get Covetable Style

It’s one thing to have good style, but another to have truly covetable style, the kind that makes other women look at you in admiration and go, “I just love your outfit!” To be on the receiving end of those compliments, however, you don’t need a lot of money or time; all you need are three simple tricks that will transform an ordinary look into a fashion-forward one. Like the way that sounds? Read on to learn our tips!

Mandy’s Must-Haves: The Best Volume Spray, Perfect Red Lipstick, and More

Is it just us, or is the holiday season creeping up faster than ever this year? It seems like just yesterday we were debating which swimsuit to wear and applying our favorite coral lip balm. Now that we’ve fully migrated to cozy scarves and burgundy lipstick, we can look forward to a (chillier) season of comfort food, family time, and, most likely, lots of traveling. Our guest editor Mandy Moore has done her fair share of jetting around this month, and is sharing her current-favorite travel products for November.  From a TSA-friendly volumizer to a do-it-all miracle balm, keep scrolling to see her picks!

An English Take On Tropical

In London, we lost many happy hours wandering the halls of Liberty, a colorful department store whose exclusive prints are immediately recognizable, iconic, and world-renowned. We’ve since been e-stalking from afar their gorgeous bucket bag, Nike-collaboration sneakers, pretty knickers and playful housewares.

It all reminds us a bit of Elle Sasson, one of our newest favorite frock-makers. You’ll know her by her plays on proportion and her propensity for all things tropical ~ but more on what we mean by that tomorrow! Tune in but until then, click through the images below to shop a particularly English take on tropical…

Solange Knowles’ Wedding Dress Is Stunning—See the Pictures!

We’ve been on high alert ever since we heard rumors that Solange Knowles was to wed video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans this weekend, and our anticipation has finally been rewarded with gorgeous photos of Knowles’ wedding dress and official portraits. The cape-like gown was designed by close friend Humberto Leon for Kenzo, and feels perfectly on-point for her personality. Knowles' wedding look also included a white Stephane Rolland jumpsuit, which she wore as she arrived at the ceremony on a bicycle adorned with cream roses.

FALL IS HERE

capa-jenniston

O recheio segue a mesma linha, poderosa minimalista.

Piperlime 30% off Stuart Weitzman, Clare V., Hunter & more

Piperlime is having a 30% off $200+ sale with hardly any exclusions, ends 11/18. Use code HOLIDAY30 for the discount, and then code CHEER for free 2 day shipping (return shipping is always free). This is an incredible sale on some classic styles and favorite brands! Here’s a few items that would also make great gifts for lucky lucky recipients:

arboretumStuart Weitzman pull-over boots (outfit from this post)

1. Stuart Weitzman boots still in sizes 4 – 12, going fast **Update 11/17 – most sizes now gone** Some styles by SW do go on sale each winter but the classic 50/50 over the knee style rarely ever makes it past 25%. I have an older variation and can’t say enough good things about the fit and how sleek they make shorter legs look. I like the look of the “Schizo” this year – a reviewer mentioned the toe shape is more sleek than the 50/50. For reference, I take my usual size 5 in this brand.

Reader-favorite Frye boots are also included in this sale – several ladies have recommended the Melissa style boot which looks petite-friendly with a 14″ shaft height. Please note they have regular calf width and extended calf width offered under the same item listing, so be careful if ordering to select the right option.

2. Clare Vivier bags – another typically excluded brand (most I’ve seen is also 25%) with plenty of her popular leopard options in stock. A leopard handbag will go with more items than you can imagine plus provides the perfect pop of print for days when you want to wear all solid basics. I did a DIY tutorial of a leopard foldover clutch here if you prefer to sew a simpler one at home instead of buy. Also, Piperlime has a CV exclusive leopard duffel – the updated style of one of my most beloved older bags which was a gift from a friend.
Leopard stripes scarf2

Clare Vivier leopard duffel (a few years old) – outfit from this post

3. Hunter boots galore in sizes 5 – 12. I personally own 1 kids pair and 1 adults. You can see my old review of Hunter kids here, but in summary the kids is great for short calves but has some issues like a large reflective patch (for the kiddos’ safety) on the back, and the shorter shaft is not as sleek looking as an adult tall boot. This is an adults style on me in comparison. Several readers have suggested the womens Tour boots which are foldable/packable for travel and apparently run slimmer in the calf than the originals. I don’t own separate snowboots because the waterproof rubber + cozy fleece sock liners serve that role well for my short commute. If you’re looking for true snowboots for the depths of winter, my coworkers swear by these insulated Sorel boots.

4. Kate Spade – all clothing, bags, shoes and accessories included in sale. If you ordered during KS’s own 25% off sitewide sale (which I already thought was good), I wonder if they would do a price adjustment. I wear my bronze Licorice pumps to pieces and unfortunately can’t find a similar darker gold anymore. The closest I have seen now is this lighter Rose Gold color licorice pump, which is on final sale and still left in all sizes. I took a 5.5 in these and use inserts, so a 5 would’ve worked. They also have a gorgeous holiday-ready bow pump slightly similar to my Manolo burgundy bow ones.

5. I originally knew of Piperlime as a premium denim retailer, so designer jeans lovers definitely take advantage! I have been looking for an alternate pair of destroyed denim for months – wanted something similar to my Gap “real straight’ jeans which I wear relentlessly, but in a consistent darker color and more rips for a really casual look. You’d think that would be easy to find but no such luck. I ordered these A Gold E Chloe jeans to try despite the interesting reviews of the jeans making “fat bulge through the holes”…will have to see exactly what that meansa!

Fall favorites…

This year I did a remix of 19 different ways I have worn my favorite pair of faux-leather shorts…which I got at Forever 21 3 years ago and I wore them so many times I lost count. So one day I decided to give them away…thinking I’ve worn them enough (even though they were in perfect condition)- and I did exactly that but I regretted it the day after when I found myself wanting to wear them. New mission:  find an affordable pair of faux leather shorts (and they had to be high-waisted). After months, I found them at H&M…with this amazing wide brim hat that has become my new favorite…it’s so big and I love it.  I ended up pairing all my fall favorites in one outfit…including this amazing plaid shirt dress (remix coming soon)…and my 3.1 Phillip Lim. I have to admit I was nervous when buying it…but I’m so glad I saved enough for it- I love it even more every time I wear it. Hope you are having a great day! XOXO
_________

ALL ABOUT BUCKLES

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!

So, LA weather has been kinda insane lately! Warm and sunny one day and gloomy and cold the next! A week or so ago, I really felt like coat weather is finally upon us and put away all of my Summer stuff! Well, apparently I was just a bit premature:) I don’t know whether the universe is playing a trick on me but as soon as I put my Summer wardrobe away and got my coats and fluffy sweaters out, the heat was back with a vengeance! Not that any sane person should be complaining about warm weather in November, but finding what to wear has been just a bit challenging lately:)

The temporary solution I’ve come up so far is jackets/blazers and boots. In order to feel just a tad more fall appropriate I started wearing everything with boots! And I mean everything!!! Denim shorts and dresses included:) I also feel like layering with jackets and blazers gives an outfit a bit more weight, and in my mind, makes it a bit more Fall appropriate. Not that this makes not wearing my new favorite coats and sweaters any more bearable, but it’s something!

Honestly, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am really wishing for some cold weather! Hopefully, this heat will not last long, and I will finally get to take my new fall favorites out for a walk:)!

12 Matching Sets that Make Getting Dressed SO Easy

Here at Who What Wear, we love a matching set. There are a few reasons for this: First of all, a matching set is not only one of the season’s coolest trends (it’s Taylor Swift’s go-to uniform), but it also makes dressing up in the morning a no-brainer. All you have to do is slip into the matching separates, throw on a few accessories, and you’re good to go, which is why we’re always looking for stylish two-piece numbers to add to our arsenal. Today, we’re bringing you 12 of our favorite sets for fall, along with some street style inspiration.

5 Colors That Look Truly Amazing on Brunettes

Blonde hair may catch the light, but brunettes have a richness to their tresses that can’t be rivaled. How to make the most of your brown locks? Just follow our simple color guide, covering everything from pastels to brights. Obviously, your skin tone plays a major factor in the colors that look best on you, but focusing on compatible hues for your hair is an ideal place to start. It all boils down to one simple concept: You want to wear colors that create a contrast between your hair and the garment, so both will stand out.

This might sound silly, but I’m really excited about these sneakers.  Sneakers are a new discovery for me.  Well, sort of.  A renewed discovery.  The last time I wore them was in high school.  And they were definitely not as sleek as these.  Slowly easing into flat sneakers, but for now, I’m loving the concealed wedge =)

I love scented candles, I have tons of them of different brands and different scents but theres something about Diptyque that everyone finds very attractive. A very good option to give some After Life to your favourite Diptyque candles is to use them as storage pieces once they have burned out. Keeping your makeup brushes is just one of a to if different ideas. What would you used them for?

Boho Beach…

I mainly wanted to share this look because the next remix includes this gorgeous kimono (which is definitely one of my current favorite pieces). I especially love it because of it’s versatility, it can be easily worn over your favorite bikini (the fabric is light…and the movement is amazing). To complete the bohemian vibe, I added a hat (and well, my colorful hair at the moment!) Hope you are having a great weekend (hopefully by the beach!) XOXO

The Top 8 Most Stylish Couples in the Fashion Industry

While some women have to help their better half in the wardrobe department, others have no problem because their partner can wear a mock turtleneck and man bun and still look like the coolest person alive (we’re looking at you, Justin O’Shea). This post is an ode to couples who share equal weight in their sartorial status, and who make us—we’ll admit it—just a tad envious! Click through to see the eight most stylish couples in the fashion industry.

Alternativa contourno!

My Mini Guide to Geneva

GGG

Like I mentioned in my previous Geneva outfit posts, I was over there in Switzerland for the first time for the launch of the tourist board’s Geneva Girls’ Guide. After the party, it was time to put the guide to good use and see if the places listed lived up to the hype. I decided to document the shops and restaurants we managed to get to so you can get a little snippet of the kind of locations listed, and of course, do a little forward planning for any trips you might be planning!

I personally wouldn’t normally think of heading to the tourist board for a guide – you’d imagine it’d be sort of biased or uncool, but the wonderfully designed Girls’ Guide ticks all the boxes, as was very evident when we arrived at each of the destinations. Without further ado…

Want more city guides? Check out Paris & New York!

Coup de Girafe

Lunch

We stopped for lunch at Coup de Girafe, a wonderful cafe with a simple but very effective menu. I opted for a yummy mozzarella and pesto toast with a cheeky tart tatin for dessert. I loved the eclectic vintage decor here, which was also available for purchase. I’m now stopping myself from drooling at the thought of that mozzarella and pesto! A must-visit for a yummy lunch.

Rue Maunoir 18

Flair 3

Vintage

If you love vintage, this one is for you! Flair 3 had some wonderful bits – an entire rail dedicated to tartan skirts was one of my highlights! Around the back we spotted things made and reworked by owner Marisa, alongside vintage designer and other standout pieces. Definitely worth a rifle!

Rue John-Grasset 3

Bongo Joe

Record Shop

I’m not sure this one is strictly in the guide, but it looked so cool that we couldn’t help but pop in for a peek. This record label have a cafe/record shop hybrid that is perfect for music lovers. I was as taken by the simple decor and indoor plants as I was by the records and chocolate cake sitting on the counter. You’ll spot it straight away thanks to it’s cool hand-drawn exterior!

Place des Augustins 9

Insens

Spa

This spa might look more like a block of offices from the outside, but inside, you’re able to get a wonderful massage in relaxing surroundings. I had a Swedish massage, and left feeling half-asleep, which is always a good sign. They also do yoga and other classes if that’s your thing! It’s also got a cafe serving up healthy grub…safe to say I gave that a miss in favour of hunting down some cheese…!

Rue Ami-Lullin 12

la sixième heure

Food & Drink

Yet another cute cafe with beautiful mismatched vintage furniture! We only stopped here for tea and cake, so I can’t tell you too much about the cuisine, but the chocolate fondant we ate was unbelievably good – and I don’t even like chocolate that much, so that’s saying something! I fell in love with the retro-style teapots and trays. We’d spotted them in a few locations across the city, and I bitterly regret not picking some up for myself.

Place des philosophes 6

Les Enfants Terribles

Design & Interiors

Lucy was in her element in this shop! Full of beautiful bright design pieces and furniture, it’s a must-see. They have an atelier in the middle of the shop so you can see them creating some of the reworked lamps and other products in front of you.  I was completely charmed by the printed ceramics! You can also grab a cuppa and cake here too. They know what they’re doing in Geneva!

Rue Prévost-Martin 24

l’Arsenal

Clothing

Whilst there’s that part of me that loves a good vintage dress, I’m also drawn to amazing quality basics and simple looks – l’Arsenal is where you’ll find them in Geneva. Stocking brands like Sessun and Surface to Air, this is the place for beautiful coats and leather boots. I had to leave pretty promptly before convincing myself another coat would be a good idea…

Rue Prévost-Martin 31

 La Verre a Monique

Cocktails

I don’t drink very often at all, but if I do have a cocktail or two, I’d rather it be somewhere like this! La Verre a Monique is a ’20s-style speakeasy, with cocktails served in teapots and cups, plus tapas for sharing at your vintage tables and chaise longues. It was extremely laid-back and the perfect setting to sip drinks whilst chatting with friends!

Gostei!

Voilà. Today, I want to share with you my experience with Paulette magazine. It’s the very first time I’m on the cover of a french magazine, and it was a very emotional time ! The Paulette team contacted me and I was very enthusiastic and first I fell very intimidated at the same time. ( I don’t know about you but once I feel confident …let’s go, I could go from an extreme shyness to a dramatic outgoing personality ).

What then ? The people behind the magazine Paulette are really nice and so talented ! The theme of the issue was #jesuisunefillemiaou (could be translated as : I’m a Meow girl), so sweet, I spent the whole day with cute kittens, so adorable !

I’ll leave you now with the video of the making off, made by href="http://www.mathilda-m.com/" >Mathilda M. /> Pictures of the cover and inner pages were taken by href="http://www.matthieudortomb.com/" >Matthieu Dortomb. /> Paulette is on sale at your newsstand, and available in href="http://bit.ly/1AhaIXq" >PDF format.
